Thanksgiving Part2

"Lord, how great You are! "
The love continued spread around and arond during the thanksgiving seasons. Last night we had a "Love time" in Phoebe's home. We (Phoebe's parents and Phoebe's friend, Jessica, Summer, Hanlin, Christin, Andrea, Janet & John, Lisa, Benny and their child. ) had a hot pot together and shared love with each other. Let's great! I also learned from how God moved on John and Janet's life and marriage when they shared the love with us. It was really heartwarming. This was my first time hearing from brother John in conversation (lots) before public especially talking about "God." That was terrific and awesome. I deeply understand God really sets different plans in each of us according to His will I can tell (from Taiwan, other conturies to U.S) Each sharing is not caduality but His plan to please and glorify Him. On the other hand, I sincerely thank Phoebe's parents, Pastor Sun and Phoebe's mother. They are so kind and invite us for dinner. It is about His Love. Besides, I learned from Pastor Sun's wisdom as well when we asked questions to him such as"No God, No answer!"(Taiwanese translation!) Praise Lord! Thanks Lord! It is really hartwarming.

(We joy in christ!)

(It is fireplace!)

Andrea did delicious apple pie!

"2 Be completely humble and gentle;be patient , bearing with one anotherin love. 3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bound of peace."(Ephesians 4:2-3)

May God bless them all! Amen

Lord, Happy Thanksgiving! @_@

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Pastor Dan & Debbi & Hubber & Joyce & Han and Annie and Kieth's family. That night we played basketball game before dinner at first. Pastor Dan and Hubber and Kieth performed their shooting. Sisters prepared food for tonight. But what the food was for thanksgiving? Ohh~ The dinner was hot pot. They did two hot pot. One was on spicy. Another was kimchi -Hot. That was terrific. I love it so much. Sure, I had a lot. I think I had better lose weight after I sufiet too much. We praised God in songs. I could not believe I sang 14 songs (Come, Holy Spirit, The 23rd, Thanks Jesus, Pass it on..and so on) the whole night. Pastor Dan led us to worship and praise Lord. The circumsatnce was filled with Holy Spirit and joyful. Praise Lord! I also had a short tesimony in person. That was really pretty heartwarming. Thanks God! I

Later, I was excited to turn on the Christmas Tree to make it light in my room. At the same time, I played the worship CD. "Owww! my room is filled with Christmas circumstance. It is really heartwarming!) I put the Cross on the tree and thought, "Lord, thank you!"

Kim Chi

Hi All,
I sincerely thank God to help and be with me in many ways through each of you whenever I used to be in tough time or other situations such as moving, praying, a ride even encouragement....Thanks God and thank you very much. It is really heartwarming.
During thanksgiving season, it would be better for me to love Him in return. Luckily, one of my classmates who is Korean, old woman, taught me how to make "Kim Chi" on Friday.(Her mother taught her when she was young. I am quite lucky to learn from it, especially I am not Korean.Haaa!)
Importantly, I had a wonderful time to share how God moves on my life and mission with her when we did Kim Chim together. I told her why I want to make Kim Chi because I want to love Him in return to brothers and sisters. She was astonished when she heard from it. (She is Catholic Christian.)
Then, I went home and made it by myself on Saturday and prayed it before gave you.
May it nurish your spirit when you have it.
Besides, welcome to give me feedback, which can help me improve next time.
--- too salty/too spicy/or others?
If you need more, I still have some and recipt. Welcome to pick up.
May you have a "Spicy Thanksgiving" ! Thanks God!
"14 Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill you vows to the Most Hight," (Psalm 50:14)
He is awesome!

Sherry and Brain's wedding.

The second time I attended wedding in U.S but it was my first time singing choir in the wedding.

In our choir, we had the same goal that we wanted to sing for Lord and let people can feel His mighty when we sang. (Sure, we woke up early and prepared it) By the way, I also made up all sisters.

See, "Are you beautiful?" Indeed, the pretty belongs to please Him.

After wedding ceremony, Gloria and I hang out together in her place. We shared life and prayed with each other and she also taught me music assignment. Later, we went receiption for dinner. Unluckily, I did not have extra energy to play with folks because i had better go home to study and rest. (Also, thank Pastor Dan and Charlene to give me a ride. We had short good conversation at that night. Praise Lord!)

"6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6-7)

I sincerely thank God to strengen my heart and mind , especially when I had much anxiety on quiz, test and exam, God gives me a lot of unexpected peace. To be honest, I am a pretty nervous person when someting come up in my life. The stress alsways cause me uncomfortable to handle something else. However, on Monday, I stared at sky and told Lord, "Please remove "the cup" from mine by Your will not mine. I trust in You. There is nothing beyond you. You are the One! Amen!" while I was going to prepare my quize and test and midterm. Then, I opened the read His words (Philippians 4:6-7). My heart all of sudden got peaceful from his guidence.
I told God, "You are really awesome. You are really my CEO! Thank you for the Cross!" The stress quickly turned into nothing from my part through faith in Christ. Thanks Lord!

Amen!

Finding myself again through Him!

Monday is raining day!

I was riding in the rain from Mountain View Library to Home.

While riding, my inner being was filled with anger, anxiety and others (not good) where I do know where is from, I told Lord, "God, please remove the "cup" from me by Your will not mine. I trust in You. The strugging/confrontation is a war from my inner beings. I am suffered from it. Let the rain wash my sin and lift me up! Lord, you are awesome! I will exalt Your name. I lzvwill be patient because I know I have You! Thank you for the Cross! Amen!"

The rain without stopping fell down my face while I was riding on the way to home as if the home is really "Home" (dwell the house of His own).

Lord! Do not forsake me. You are my king of my king and Lord of Lord. I Love You!

The confidence in Chirst

Parise:Thank God to keep my accountability with Him in daily morning.

What I read in this morning was "Confidence."

"To succeed at being ourselves, we must be confident. It is not self-confidence we are to seek, but confidence in Christ. I like The Amplified Bible translation of Philippians 4:13, which say, "...I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency." It is actually a sin to be confident in ourselves-but to be confident in Christ should be the goal of every believer.

Jesus said, "...apart from Me (cut off from vital union with Me) you can do nothing" (John 15:5). We keep attempting to do things in the strength of our own flesh, instead of placing all our confidence in Him.

Most of our internal agony, our struggling and frustration, comes from misplaced confidence. In Philippians 3:3, Paul says that we are to put no confidnece in the flesh. Theis means our own selves as well as our friends and family. I am not saying that we cannot trust anyone, but if we give to others the trust that belongs to God alone, we will not experience victory. God will not allow us to succeed until our confidence is in the right place, or mor correctly, in the right Person. " "

God'w word for you ~

(Most) blessed is the man who believes in , trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. ( Jeremiah 17:7)
